Our bullet-resistant hollow metal door and frame assemblies are engineered with a “non-ricochet” design, effectively capturing and retaining projectiles to minimize the risk of unintended injury or lateral penetration. The frames are constructed from cold-rolled, prime-painted steel, precisely cut, formed, and welded to size, with ballistic armor integrated into the 2″ face to achieve the required protection level. The doors are crafted from prime-painted steel skins with channel-supported edges, reinforced with ballistic armor, and foam insulation to meet specified ballistic protection standards. Each assembly is factory-prepared and mounted on its frame with heavy-duty, clear anodized aluminum continuous gear hinges, ready for hardware installation, including cylindrical locks, mortise locksets, or exit devices, ensuring superior performance and security.
