Ballistic Doors - Full Lite

Our bullet-resistant wood veneered doors and hollow metal frame assemblies are designed with a “non-ricochet” feature to safely capture and retain projectiles, minimizing the risk of injury or lateral penetration. The frames are constructed from cold-rolled, prime-painted steel, precisely cut, formed, and welded to size, with ballistic armor integrated into the 2″ face to meet the specified protection level. The doors feature a fiberglass armor core, particle board substrate, veneered door skins, and edge molding for a combination of strength and visual appeal. Doors rated for ballistic Levels 1 through 3 are 1 3/4″ thick, while Levels 4 through 8 are 2″ or more in thickness for enhanced protection. Each assembly is factory-prepared and mounted on its frame with a heavy-duty, clear anodized aluminum continuous gear hinge, ready for hardware such as cylindrical locks, mortise locksets, or exit devices. This ensures superior durability, security, and reliable performance.
